Painting inspired by an Egyptian simulacrum dedicated to the cat deity ‘Bastet’. The composition of this work has been performed with acrylics and natural pigments made with brick dust combined with binders and arabic gum in emulation of the preparatory processes of the ancient Egyptian artists and scribes.
